With the Electribe-S, you can use pitch, filter, and effects knobs to drastically alter samples. Its Time Slice function lets you chop phrases into pieces, massage the parts separately, then put them back together to create complex patterns from simple loops or phrases. You can create instant rhythms by assigning sampled sounds to up to 10 parts, then use the step sequencer to create complex patterns that once took ages to program. Features a master-delay effect and built-in effects processor with 11 types of effects that can be switched on/off for each part. Includes the standard effects plus unique ones such as Decimator and Isolator. Internal memory can hold 128 user patterns. Combine up to 256 patterns/steps to create a song, 16 of which can be stored. A SmartMedia slot is provided for storing data. Includes power supply and backpack. The backpack holds 2 Electribe units and a KAOSSPAD, but will certainly be used for much more than that (D16, D8, etc.). This heavy-duty bag is made of 840D Trylon with oversized zippers and a shoulder strap. To protect a second Electribe it features a fold-down panel/divider inside the main compartment.
